Providing Life Saving Heat to Victims of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina

Giving Warmth & Hope Throughout the Region

Meeting Urgent Winter Needs

HELP US KEEP HURRICANE HELENE VICTIMS WARM THIS WINTER

The mountain regions of Western North Carolina (WNC) are facing an unprecedented crisis. Large number of families are without power and heat, and winter has already set in with freezing temperatures and snow.

The catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Helene has left many residents of Western North Carolina in life-threatening conditions. Power restoration in some areas is projected to take months, leaving families without heat through the coldest winter months.

With many roads and driveways still washed out or blocked with limited access, some power poles needing to be flown in by helicopter and where power restoration could take months , the situation is dire. Winter temperatures have already hit the region and snow has begun to fall. This is a life and death situation for these impacted residents, many that don’t have electricity or heat. There have already been reports of deaths due to hypothermia.

This is where you have the chance to save lives by donating to our urgent mission to provide generators, fuel, propane heaters, propane, needed accessories and more to affected residents. Will you please join our mission by making a financial donation today?

Causes

Heat for Every Home

Providing Generators, Propane Heaters, and Fuel Supplies

Many homes in the mountains of WNC are still without electricity, and the power company has estimated months before full restoration. Our top priority is delivering propane heaters, generators, and fuel supplies to help families heat their homes safely throughout the winter.

How You Can Help: Your donations directly fund the purchase and distribution of essential heating equipment.

Winter Clothing and Gear Distribution

Coats, Blankets, Sleeping Bags, and Winter Essentials

Beyond heating equipment, many residents are in desperate need of heavy blankets, winter coats, gloves, and cold-weather sleeping bags. These items help protect against the brutal mountain cold for those living without power or heating sources.

How You Can Help: Every contribution helps us provide families with the warmth they need to survive.

Stocking Up Before Winter Cuts Off Access

Supplying Inaccessible Areas

With roads becoming impassable due to snow and ice, we’re working quickly to stock homes in the hardest-hit and most remote regions of WNC. We’re preparing these families to survive potential isolation during the coldest months.

How You Can Help: Your support helps us pre-position supplies in areas that may be cut off this winter.
